Lizzy Borden
Don't you love the 80's? The cliche, the "we're full-blown metal" kinda attitude. I love it.

Sargeist - Let The Devil In
I have listened to this record a few times this week. I am not a fan of Depressive Black Metal (even though they don't sound like most bands of this genre), but this one is something else. The title track, Let The Devil In, has a catchy chorus.

Necroskinner
Fellow countrymen delivering some real fun Thrash/Crossover. Some of their tunes remind me of Ratos de Porão, because the vocalist sound a little like João, and because of that Hardcore feeling to it.

Briar - Edge Of A Broken Heart
When you think you've seen everything...
I was watching some Vixen (American all-female hair band), I came across a video of Richard Marx (yep, the 80's hit maker) and then I saw he recorded Edge Of A Broken Heart, a song which I thought was Vixen's but then I learnt he wrote that for them (he was involved in their first record production).
Anyways, and then, YouTube gave me this one as a recommended video.

- These guys took the mullet thing a little too far;
- You have Ozzy, Lemmy and Bruce Dickinson in it (and I bet they didn't record any word in it);
- This is a BON JOVI song! It was supposed to be on Slippery When Wet record, but was cast out on the final release. Someone said on the video's comments that this track goes back as far as to when Bon Jovi was still BONGIOVI, before the band.
What a piece of music, my friends. And perhaps because I've looped it a number of times now, I kinda liked it.
